Santa Monica Vet Memorial
This was a bit of an unusual day. I woke up early (unusual) and decided to go take a walk by myself at the beach (unusual too). First thing I saw were these red and white crosses standing neatly in rolls resembling a cemetery…Next to it was a tent with an old man busy around putting up posts and staging up flyers. Turns out this was a special day. Every little cross there represented a passed soldier who didn’t have a name. He was very much hoping that I could pass out the good words so more people are aware and support the cause. With his permission I documented a portrait of him standing in front of the crosses.
