A Santa Barbra “Starwars” Wedding
I was invited to second shoot for santa Barbra photographer Lucia Kiel at a beautiful private Hillltop House in Santa Barbra. It was bright, beautiful and decorated with Bryan and Cindy’s photographs from all over the world. Bryan and his groom’s men were a group of fun goofballs who were one of the smartest people I’ve encountered in a long while. They all held double degrees in either some kind of engineer field that I couldn’t understand and/or repeat and a doctors degree in psychology or specializes in Ancient Rome linguistic history. They were down to earth and a lot of fun to talk to. They taught me poker in 20 minutes and told me the story about how Simon ( Bryan’s best men) consistently drove through red lights near downtown SB when they were in college. According to him he memorized every camera there was on that street.
Bryan and Cindy had an army of family. The entire venue was prepared and decorated by their aunts, uncles and cousins. Reception dinner was prepared by Bryan’s mom who’s an amazing cook and cake was made by a friend from Church who was practically part of the family as well.
Cindy walked down the aisle an hour before the sunset. Beautiful gold light lid up the entire hill for them. Being start war fanatics, Bryan and Cindy were announced husband and wife under the cross of two light sabers held by both of her father and step dad on each side.
“May the force be with you! Cindy and Bryan!”
